We have experienced a major water leak on our main line and another leak affecting Rich Mtn and Dar Van Way at the same time. We will be working tomorrow also on both leaks.
- We are doing everything we can to fix these as fast as possible, we have ran into needing more parts etc and it was much bigger/worse than we expected.
- For those upset that we did not give you a heads up that we were going to have a leak............that's impossible to do, we had no idea we were going to have a leak especially 2.
- For those upset we are not flushing. We cannot flush until the leaks are repaired and both wells have recovered from the water lose. Our crew is stretched thin trying to repair two at once. Flushing now will drain the tanks then no one will have water. Flushing now means we would have to pull our crew off of the leak repair and we cannot do that.
- Your water will be brown from the leaks.
- You are going to experience low water pressure tonight as we push water to everyone.
- Work will begin again tomorrow, we had to stop to get more parts and had to pick a point that would allow us to keep everyone in water. We do not want you to go all night with no water if at all possible.
We know this is frustrating, it is for us. We had to call in help today and equipment for the leak. Again, this is not something we planned.
Please watch out for our crew as they are working in the road.
