- ESCUD Techs will start next week inspecting all meters, recording meter numbers and identifying missing meters and doing trail runs on meter readings. The plan is to start reading the current meters until we have the new meters here and can replace the old ones. We will be installing meters on properties with no meters. You will not get billed on meter readings until we have meters installed on every property. Once we have meters installed, meter numbers with accounts meter reading and billing will begin.
PLEASE NOTE: We must have access to your meter, this is a requirement! If you have a meter behind a locked gate or covered etc, we will need access. Please feel free to contact our office regarding this.
- If you are one of the properties plumbed directly into our main water line with no meter.............we will be finding all those and installing meters and charging accordingly.
- Some of you have experienced water shut offs this week. ESCUD has been mailing out and placing door hangers for months warning this was coming, it is now here.
- Late charges will begin on June 25th, payments are due on the 15th of each month we have chosen to extend a 10 day grace period before late charges are applied.
- Cut-offs: if you are 2 months or more behind on your account your water will be shut off without further notice. If you are not making your agreed upon payments on the payment plan your water will be shut off without further notice. You will be required to pay the full amount due before service is restored plus a reconnection fee.
- ALL payment plan accounts must be paid in full by Dec 31, 2025. ESCUD cannot continue to carry accounts that are $1000.00 plus delinquent. Please see me or email me to discuss this if you need.
