No truth at all. TAUD is still the managing company. No plans to change.
The office has experienced along with the techs and myself, vandalism and threats. Once the threats went from rocks and breaking out the drive thru window and the lab window to threats to unalive the person sitting in the office aka.....me our GM with TAUD pulled me from the office immediately.
Our payment box has been targeted with M80's several times, burning inside the box. Therefore we cannot guarantee payments placed in the box so we had to shut the box down.
Customer's have came into the office and threatened to burn me down and more, I'll not go into more detail this is still an active investigation.
I have put notes on the office door and drive thru window addressing this and how to make payments. We are also asking you to mail payments to our billing department in KY (we have been using this company for over an year, so this is not new) because our mail is also targeted and we cannot trust that your payment will make it from the mail box to me.
This was a not a decision made out of haste or lightly. Tim Ham our GM and I along with the other managers have been discussing the situation for several months. We were taking safety precautions and installed security cameras all around the office, inside and out to keep the office open for customers but safe for staff. I was at the office 95% of the time alone, therefore once the situation grew to a very serious state the decision was made to shut the office down. No one should feel unsafe at work! I'm sure those of you that have a wife, mother or daughter would not want to put your loved one in that position, neither does my husband or son!
I miss being there. I miss the interactions with our customers. I care very deeply about English Mountain and the people there. TAUD and ESCUD has worked hard to address the water issues and to bring good clean water to English Mountain. That will not stop nor slow down, we will continue to work to better the water and improve the wastewater treatment plant.
I personally will and have gone above and beyond for customers and will continue to do so because that's just the way I am and I genuinely care.
At this time we need understanding from the community as we make changes that will be for the better. We are presently discussing and planning to reopen the ESCUD office but it will be at a different location. Once everything is in place we will make the announcement and information will be posted at the office. We are also working on a more user friendly website where you can download necessary forms etc.
We realize this is a big change for those use to paying in person and we truly wish this was not the direction it had to go.
You are more than welcome to call me or email me if you have questions.
